Probably not. Always keep a canker treatment in your first aid kit. You need to get some asap.

OK, thanks. Ill be getting some canker meds. I just wanted to make sure before I bought the meds. Thanks! The hen is also looking a little ugly, theyre a pair and have raised a baby this year, the hen and baby have no symptoms but I guess i should just flock treat anyways?

yes you should treat the entire flock, just to be on the safe side.

Treat them all and I would get two different canker medicines.

Separate the symptomatic bird and treat that bird by hand to make sure the
needed amount of the medicine is actually being delivered into the bird's system. Flock treat the rest in their water, Ronidazole is a good water treatment for flock dosing. Get some Metronidazole for the bird w/the chunk of canker in the throat. While all the canker meds that we use are in the Nitroimidazole family, it's still recommended to rotate these meds. Most pigeons have been exposed to trichomonas and coccidiosis and require periodic treatment, especially before the breeding season. Jedd's ships the quickest, but if you called your order in, perhaps a given supply house would send the medicine next day. http://www.jedds.com/-strse-Medicine...Categories.bok And the houses in general: http://www.pigeons.biz/forums/f25/pi...only-9455.html If you need help w/the individual dosing, give a yell....you'll also need a weight on the sick bird. You can get Ronidazole in powder form, get Metronidazole in the pill form. fp
