Very interesting! I have two Vienna medium-faced tumblers, which look a lot the same. They are so small, almost dove-sized. Thanks for the article!

Look Terry... I'm making a comment.Have to admit I really enjoy reading these each week. I even print them out so visitors to my place can read them. Most do take the time to read them. So thanks risingstarfans for taking the time and effort. Jim

very much enjoyed!...I have been wondering about this breed for awhile...I have a thing about unusual breeds....also wanted to ask about their size compared to others.??.....I really do love the breed of the week, It is like a library at my fingertips....I have gone back to the articles I have read and reread them as well......wonderful info here!!!!!

I too liked this breed of the week though I lean more towards liking the longfacedtumbler with their huge heads and tall stance ,someday I plan on gettin me a pair of those just to have around

Thank you, Jim, and all who have replied to this thread! This thread was particularly interesting to me as I had no idea just how IGNORANT about this breed of pigeon that I was (and still am .. I couldn't tell you short faced, medium faced, or long faced by looking at a bird
 .. heck .. I didn't even know until a year or so ago that it had nothing to do with the length of the beak)!Terry
