Hey Marty Hopefully I will see you at the Rhinebeck show. I have some of Martys birds and they are doing great. They are my starter babies since I am new to this field. Marty was a great help and I think they are some most beautiful birds.

Those pictures are birds I got from Marty. I picked up 10 a few weeks back. They are doing great and some are even pairing up. I have not flown them yet as I was getting them accustomed to my loft. My wife and kids have even fallen in love with them because they are so pretty.

tjc1 thx I see your close by what do you have for birds? I have had a tough year just got back into the hobby last year started with 12 Serbian High flyers (awesome birds) 8Shaksharli tumblers, 8 Ukranians, 6 Iranian High Flyers and 4 Porteguese Tumblers. After a tree getting blown down on my coop, coon, weasel and hawk attack down to just 4 Serbians 1Shak 1 Ukranian and 3 Iranians. Tough going but I fly them every day so you takes your chances and it is pretty interesting to see how the flying styles have changed. Not so much long and high but now more short low fast and furious although the Iranians and the Serbians still go way up at least a couple of times a day.

It happens but still nothing beats flying them. As for predators their part of life and my shotgun took care of them for now. Glad you have gotten into birds. Never saw or heard of Crested Rollers before today nice looking birds! Are you near Albany? If so I am only 20 miles or so away from you. Would be cool to have someone nearby into birds and flying. Raised Rollers as a kid on Long Island and have thought about getting back into them my Iranians tumble up it is pretty cool to see. Even my daughters think they are awesoMme to watch. If your interested in talking or maybe getting together pm me here and I will give you my number. Ron
