Looking for a Pair of Doves in CT

Hello (my first post!)

I am looking for my first pair of doves, ringneck or diamond for an outdoor aviary. Dont worry though, I am an experienced bird person--parrot, chicken, quail. I am a certified vet tech gone chemistry professor! So I have a vet support ( I still fill in for them!)

So, anyone in the looking to place any??

Hi Tiffany Welcome to Pigeon-Talk!

You may also want to check you local area's Craig's List. That's where I found my all my birds (including two precious ringneck's).

Another place to look -- the Doves-Pigeons yahoo group (http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/doves-pigeons/). Several of the active posters there frequently have Doves for sale and ocassionally a "free to good home" posting.

Hope you find some - they are beautiful and wonderful pets.

And of course - you have to post pictures when you get your pair
