Needed: A good home for an array of pet pigeons.

A lady by the name of Carol from Newport News, Va. contacted me in regards to her 15 pet pigeons needing a new home. She may have to move to the New England area to care for her father who is ill. She is unable to bring the birds with her. She has two fantails and fantail crosses along with a few common pigeons. All of which are pets and very tame. She sent pictures but I could not get them to come up on my computer. Anyway if you are interested in helping her please contact her at email address of Feathers14@aol.com. Hi Steve. Thanks for responding. My birds are mostly just commons (bluebars etc). I do have two fan tails (one black, one white) and one helmet head (the one in the sink - but he will stay with me because he's old now and caged inside). Because they are caged together, there have been some "mixed" babies. I have actually hand raised/hand fed some of them (like the one on my head) because I had to pull them from the nests to prevent them from being pecked (the coop isn't that large).

It breaks my heart at the thought of having to give them away, but I am trying to prepare for the very real possibility of relocating back North. It's better to start the process now than to scramble to find them homes at the last minute (which would probably be an impossible task). Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

I think there are a couple people here looking for pet pigeons in particular; I don't know how near they are, though. Maybe something could be arranged with shipping if they are too far away.
