Just for general information to those who live close to Kansas City. There is a swap meet tomorrow (sat. the 30th)in Basehor Ks. Follow signs at 155th and 24 hiway.

Thanks for the information, but I got it too late! I typically travel to the Booneville and Jacob's Cave (Versailles), Missouri shows, but have been looking for other small animal and poultry shows in the area. If you know of others [particularly those featuring pigeons], please keep me posted. Again, thanks!

There is going to be a poultry/pigeon auction sept. 20th in Garder Ks. If you're interested let me know and I'll get some more info about it. I have a flyer around here somewhere on it.
I've seen where you are interested in frillbacks. So is my step-son. We are looking for some also.

Thanks for your reply! Yes, I would be interested in knowing about the Gardner, KS show. I'm still on the prowl for some frillbacks and will let you know what I find. I get my best information from the breeders at the shows--if you want to go to a fabulous one, head for the Jacob's Cave show in Versailles, Missouri the first weekend of October. There are a great variety of breeders there, and the show is just generally fun (lots of puppies, too!) I do live on the southern end of Jackson County on the Grandview/Belton line. Again, thanks for responding, and if you can get me the scoop on the Gardner show, I'll go for sure. Appreciate it!

I'm from Atchison, KS. And the event in Gardner is SEPTEMBER 20TH OF 2003!! It is a Bird and Animal AUCTION! It is not a show just to clarify that for you. It starts at 8am on Saturday morning. It usually last well past mid-night. It's a great sale and has lots of critters there.
Once again, it is not a show. This is a sale only. If you need further information, I'd be glad to help. Once again it is at Gardner, KS Fairgrounds. Impossible to miss!!
Admission is $4.00 for all people inclding children over 4 years old.

One last thing!
There is a swap meet in HOLTON, KS this weekend too. Booth fee's I think are $4. No addmission. It starts at 8am. Will be some good breeders there and great selection of birds. This is their last fall swap meet that I know of. They have a Auction the 25th of October also. This is at the HOTLON FAIRGROUNDS.
