Pigeons Wanted--Southern Indiana

Hello! I am new to this site. I just finished construction on my daughter's and my loft. We have raised birds at another location before, and don't have many now because they were living in a pen in the garage. We are interested in many different breeds, but the main ones we are looking for are Indian Fantails and one of the giant breeds--Runts, etc. Please let me know if anyone knows someone selling birds in our area. We frequent Eggbid often, but shipping costs are a little prohibitive at this time.

Thank you,

Erica.

Erica, I just want to welcome you to this great forum. Since I deal mainly with feral rescue I can't help you with your questions but there are many members who breed birds that will be along to talk with you.

Maggie

Hi Erica,

Welcome to the forum I think our member UPCD raises indian fantails, although she's not in your immediate area. I have runts myself, but I'm in Canada, lol. I don't breed mine though, they are strictly pets. UPCD (Debbie) might be willing to ship some birds to you perhaps if she's got any to sell.

Otherwise, there are lots of members here and surely someone will be able to help you find some birds that is more practical.

If you need any information on runts, let me know...I'm one of the few here that has them

Good luck and welcome again!

Hello and Welcome to Pigeons.com

Perhaps you can find a pigeon club in your area that has access to the fancy birds or can direct you to a source.

Please check this link:

Pigeons

You can find the pigeons you want now if your willing to drive to southern Michigan. I know a lot of pigeon people around here who have the breeds you want. Other wise you will have to wait till May and head up to the Wolf swap in northern Indiana and hope to find what you want there. Or look for local clubs in southren IN where you are from. Look for a bird breeders club we have one here I belong to and they have a list of members and what we all raise so, it's easy to find people who have the breeds you want. Good luck and feel free to contact me for more info at conner@voyager.net
