Hello Everyone - I am expecting a move sometime in the summer of 09 and will need to drastically downsize my birds (if not a complete sell out). I forgot to mention that I will be attending these shows:

Oct 11th Rhinebeck NY
Nov 29th Faircount, CT
Dec 13 Big Apple in NY
Jan 8-10 Grand National in Lancaster PA

I will be selling my entire show team during the Grand National. The national will not have a sale section but my birds will be sold from their show cages.

Thanks again - kim

I'm telling you all, Kim has VERY nice birds. She always does well at shows, which goes to show the quality of birds she will be selling.

Kim,
I won't be going to that show. I do hope to make it to Sturbridge.

As luck would have it I am skipping Sturbridge this year in favor of attending the new show in White Plains, NY . I may need to "road trip" to your house to bring the birds to you. I am not certain when I can do this but there is no rush on my end. I would really like for you to have Pidge, Rocky, and my "lavender" roller. I have two found homing pigeons that I could sell or give to someone who could use them in their breeding program (I think they are both cocks but not certain). Let me know what works for you... kim

This is a reply to BMed: I have two found racing homers that I am looking to "rehome". One is a white 2007 bird while the other is a 2008 and is considered a blue check splash. I believe both are cock birds but not 100% certain and they are healthy. Do you have a loft ready to house birds or are you looking to see what interests you? I would be happy to give you the homers if you are prepared to care for them. If you attend Faircount you can find me with the Saddle Homers, Capuchines, or Thailand Laughers . Thanks, kim

When the time comes I will have a nice big cage for him and will most certainly give free flying time in the house (im sure ill have to invest in some pgwear. Please let me know! Im curious to see what the little guys look like.

BMed - these racing homers are flock oriented and are happiest in a loft with other birds. They view me as an entity that brings food and water and who occassionaly harrasses them for worming/vaccinations. I do not think either bird would make a good "indoor" pet. You may be better off finding a homer who has been hand raised or one that is accustomed to living in a home due to injury, etc.

Kim,
We can schedule to meet somewhere in the middle. You coming all the way ro Maine and then traveling back is way too much. Remember, I did that once, going to your house. I can take whoever you need to rehome. The kids will come it to the house for isolation, then end up in the horse barn, after all nooks and crannies are covered with hardware cloth. My son is coming to help me close in everything once it cools off a bit.

Daryl - how far are you from the Faircount show? I am not attending Sturbridge so I would say this CT show is the closest I will be to your area. I have classes and work on a regular basis (no days off) through December. If we cannot connect this Fall/Winter I can meet you 1/2 way in Spring 09 when driving conditions improve. kim
