Very beautiful birds. Did you cross other breeds with homers to get all those colors?

Hi Becky,

Thanks for the compliments. I didn't make the crosses. My gimpels (archangel pattern) stock originated in Utah from a breeder that worked for over 40 years with this stock until he passed away a few years ago. I have since made some outcrosses with two other stocks to increase size and improve type.
My frill stencils are from Dal Stone of California. He also created and worked with this stock for over forty years. I have made some outcrosses to introduce more colors and increase size.
