It is not a good idea to mix pigeons with doves because pigeons are much larger and can injure the doves. It is better to keep pigeons in a loft with access to an aviary. You could probably add a pair of gentle breed pigeons. Fantails would be ok IMO but you would have to keep an eye out. The size you state I think would make it ok since the doves would have plenty of room to themselves and could rest in the tree that the pigeons probably wouldn't use.

Do you have any photos to share?

A cousin gave me some Fantails. At first he called them fantail doves, but when I went too get them, he kept saying fantail pigeons. I have looked things up on the internet and I still cannot tell the difference. They look like the Exibitions fantale pigeon. Do any of you have pictures of your fantales or any help too offer me. I cannot even find food for doves or pigeons in my area. Thanks for any help you have too offer me. I now have too hurry and get a big cage fixed for them.

doves is just a term used with pigeons when one uses them for a dove release business relating back to the noahs ark era and the joining of souls spiritually.. fantails are actually a type of pigeons not doves unless you are going back to what they all evoled from the rock dove which is also really a pigeon of the wild type hope that helps
"The Rock Pigeon (Columba livia), or Rock Dove, is a member of the bird family Columbidae (doves and pigeons). In common usage, this bird is often simply referred to as the "pigeon". The species includes the domestic pigeon, and escaped domestic pigeons have given rise to the feral pigeon"
