I am so sorry to learn of Maggie's passing. My heartfelt condolences to all her many friends and loved ones. Her lovingness, generosity and kind nature lives on with all that she has touched. She will be greatly missed in many communities.

Not a day has passed that I have not thought of our Maggie. I was thinking today that maybe if it could be done by the higher ups on this great site, that they can bestow a high title to a valuable member who has passed on. We often see older posts when doing research,and thought it would be a nice tribute to those many who contribute so much here and in helping others, including our feathery friends.
Something like... Maggie-NC Angel wings maybe we could set up a vote on a new commemorative title. Just a thought. Maybe a special avatar too?

Wonderful idea, Victor! I love the idea of a new title, but I'd suggest keeping the avatar. Many times, the avatar is so reminicent of the person.

Could we put a sticky "In Memory Of Maggie" You know kind of like the park benches that are deticated in the memory of a well thought of person in that community. Thank you so much Victor for bringing this up. It is an excellent way to remind us that we have someone on the other side welcoming all of our little animals that have passed on. You know that she is giving orientations at the bridge, and helping the shy lil birds understand that they have to wait for us.

I just made Maggie's "title" Guardian Angel .. is this OK with everyone? I'm sure myself or any of the moderators would be happy to make a "sticky" of a tribute to Maggie in the feral pigeon forum. Just let us know who is going to write it and when it's done, and we'll "sticky" it! The title can be changed easy enough, so if Guardian Angel isn't quite right, let's come up with the right title and John or I can make it happen.
