AND...There Were FIVE!How often are FIVE Pigeon Talk members able to greet and meet each other??
On Saturday, December 15, 2007, FIVE of us were able to meet, talk and greet...and boy, did we TALK!!  Margaret and her husband, Jon, flew in from CA on their way to Prescott. Jim (Paws) from Alaska, also flew by on his way to visit parents in FL. Cindy (AZWhitefeather) and Kim (KIPPY) and myself were the rest of the FABULOUS FIVE! Also joining us were my daughter, Baya and my good friend, Golda, both of whom have heard me "mention" Pigeon Talk and the various members a "few" times...   We all met at a nearby restaurant for lunch and then visited Cindy's lovely Aviary before everyone went on their way. Anticipation and excitement, for me, was incredible! Jim was able to stay until Sunday night and I think I talked more in those two days than in the two YEARS since I retired! Yes, Jim IS just as funny in person as his posts! Monday, I just vegged... I'm sure Cindy, Margaret and Kippy will post their comments. Margaret also has a picture to post! To say I enjoyed meeting Margaret, Jon and Jim is putting it mildly! THEY ARE TERRIFIC!! Wow, what a fun time we had!!! It was terrific to see all those nosey members together. Cindy's aviary is beyond beautiful. Meeting Rae Charles was a great treat for me as well as all the other AZWhitefeather birds. AND the loft and cages are decorated for Christmas. Cindy, you rock!
