Well, he looks like a total sweetheart!! I don't recall ever hearing about him, but that don't mean much. I can't remember past yesterday!!
So, does he live in a cage? How does he get around when he's not flying?

Oh Cyn, Turtle is just beautiful! I really enjoyed the video of him flying. He landed so softly and sweetly in (I guess) your husband's hand. So sweet.
Do you ever put him on a soft mat to scoot around on? I don't blame you for not putting him down. He still has a quality of life and, to me, that's what counts.

Well the cage I have him in can be a bird/sugar glider cage. It is very large & I left one plateform in it. I have 6 parakeets (including Turtle) and one Cockatiel. Turtle climbs around like Spiderman, when he is tired of using his legs he rest on the platform or on top of a food dish I made out of a plastic cream ice container this way it is easier for him to get to food & water.
I Just took this small video, He always hangs out on this side of the cage he will fly then go back to that corner... ![]()
