yep, that wind is a bugger for sure. It's blowing here too today......supposed to be 15 to 20 MPH with gusts up to 25. It takes your breath away.

Pegasus' post is a grim reminder indeed... poor birds!
I'm quite paranoid with pet safety, so I only usually have electrical (non-bar) heaters on. Mind you, I shouldn't complain about the weather, as daytime temperatures here are still in the high 60s!

Our weather is much like Renee's and it is so cold - temp is 43 now and expected to be 22 overnight. We had more snow this morning - nothing to get too excited about but more than we had earlier this week. It covered all the roofs and you could see it well on the tilled garden area.

We just had to run an errand and the wind is terrible. Gotta get my wool caps out.

That's not what was forecasted. I wouldn't complain at all if 40's and 30's was the worst it got here. I guess 40's and 30's for you is like 0 or 10 to me.
Lol, I guess so! I think I'm just a cold person to begin with. I gotta say, though, with temps in the 80s earlier, I was daydreaming about moving somewhere it's always warm! It froze last night for the first time and brrrr was it chilly. I was out there putting blankets around the little aviary where the doves and more delicates are. The big aviary's covered in heavy plastic so they were happy. And yes, I realize it's mainly for my own peace of mind that I bother covering them so well. I was telling them about the other pigeons in the world who live in snow. They didn't believe me for a second.

The coldest I've been through so far was a few mornings at 18 degrees. That was a few days ago. I love the winter but I hate having to mess with the birds' water; makes my hands feel like icecubes after refilling a few!

Oh and it was snowing here this morning

I bet they didn't, lol.
Piper and Noelle have absolutely no idea what snow could possibly be. (Last time it snowed here was 3 years ago, and only for 2 hours!)

Okay, I can't wait to see this movie. Of course, I read all four books in the series after about a dozen people insisted (I read a lot anyway). LOVED THEM. I had a great time reading the series, I hope the movie is half as good as the book. Don't worry, I won't be screaming OMG Edward Cullen. I don't think.

And as for 4 degrees Celsius. . .that's just not right.

NOT...you'll probably be the loudest well everything turned out fine, my ears started working after some of the screaming cooled off. Pretty great movie. Love/Thriller/Action/A bit of comedy. And yeah 4 degrees is a bummer. I hate it lol
