That is an amazing picture. Isnt that a House finch? I believe it is also a female because males have a lighter face and darker browns? I dont know for sure. Ill do some rsearch and edit my post later.

I was thinking that too but in the picture...she almost looked too big to be a English House Sparrow.

House sparrows are usually larger than some of the other sparrows and finches. Looks like the man has bonded with this little one but, not a good idea to trade germs with a bird, especially for the bird.
