WOW indeed, Jennifer..... Those are some beautiful pictures. I especially have a thing for trees, so the first one is extra special. Do you mind if I keep a copy on my computer? It's interesting, those pictures could have been taken here in my town (well, out in the country a bit more probably). That is where I grew up, in the "country" as we call it so I, like you, enjoy taking pictures of wildlife and trees and leaves changing (as well as animals, of course!) Thanks for sharing the pictures with us.

Mary Jane

Yes You May Copy Any You Would Like To use. They Are Something I Love To do. One day I Want To Buy A Really Nice Camera's That Takes The Nigth Shot's And Can Zoom Really Fare. I'd Love To Start Taking Photo's Of Wildlife Bears . Birds , Deer , Etc.
One Of My Horses i Took Over 300 Pictures in One day trying To get Him Running At Me . I was on the Other side of the fence He at That Time Hated Our Other Horse Nid-nigth And he Was Standing Behind Me. So High-steppin Was Really Coming At Him Not Me. But It Was So Pretty.
If I Could Make A Living Taking Photos I Could Do It All Day.

Jennifer, all I can say is WOW! Your pictures are outstanding - especially the first one. God's paintbrush at work.

Down in NC the leaves in our area have not really started changing. Lewis and I were talking about this just this week because it seems so late in the year. Our weather was so dry and hot this summer I'm not sure what the leaves will look like when they finally start changing.

Thanks for saying we can use them - that first picture is very soon going to be my desktop!

Our Color Wasn't As Storg This Year. And It Just Has Changed Colors In The Last 2 weeks What Color We Did Have I think Came From the Only Rain We Got This Summer And It Was About 2weeks Ago Have had A Few Others Since But Not Much. You Can Tell In some Of The Phot's The Trees Are Brown.

Hope To See Others Pictures. I Know Alot Of People Will Have Only A Little Color.

Color? Yes....

Hello Jenny,

Talking about colored vegetation ... looked at some apple compote in a jar in the fridge today ... nice little islands of blues and greens on the yellow applesauce. Don't have a larger garden available to me at the time.

Nice pics.

Your pictures so serene and beautiful reminded me right away of the John Denver song "Take me home...". Low and behold, I then see you are from Virginia!

Here is the song lyrics that go well with the pictures I think~

Almost heaven, west virginia
Blue ridge mountains
Shenandoah river -
Life is old there
Older than the trees
Younger than the mountains
Growin like a breeze

Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads

All my memories gathered round her
Miners lady, stranger to blue water
Dark and dusty, painted on the sky
Misty taste of moonshine
Teardrops in my eye

Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads

I hear her voice
In the mornin hour she calls me
The radio reminds me of my home far away
And drivin down the road I get a feelin
That I should have been home yesterday, yesterday

Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads

Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads
Take me home, now country roads
Take me home, now country roads

Smile

I, too, remember and like John Denver! Memories, indeed!

What a shame he died so early!!

I love that song! Thanks for posting the words, Victor. The song does, indeed, complement the lovely pictures that Jennifer posted...

I always thought his "Annie's Song" was the most romantic love song I had ever heard!
