Found Pigeon 14th st btw Ave A and B NYC

In a doorway near the Blarney Cove Bar, a lady standing there said it he had been there all day. She was not going to take him I am unable to. I am hoping someone can go by and check on him he might be okay but he is still sitting there and its now dark.

I tried to upload this photo and pdf map on New York City Pigeon Rescue but it kept telling me "I don't have permission" to upload so I apologize of this is incorrect to post here but I didn't want to delay this more.

why can't you just get him and put him in a box and keep him warm, untill someone can get in touch with someone in your area.

Hi Orchid! It's fine to post here, but if you can go back to the NYCPRC site and create a Bird Down report, that will get faster response from people who can help than posting here. I'll go ahead and see if I can direct some of the NYCPRC folks to this thread anyway. It really would be best to go ahead and get the bird in a box and safely inside if you can.

I did create a report and it is not showing up I cannot take this bird in. That is why I posted here I could have just ignored it but have come here for help.

They will find someone to help, good of you to come here, now to help the bird can you put it in a box and get it to a warm place....are you allergic? or going to work?..

My partner is ill and we have a tiny place there is no way it would be safe from the four cats either.

I called Blarney Cove, they are going to keep an eye on the pigeon until someone can come for him.
