Lost, adopted, now goneMs Pigeon (07-871-954-AGSG) showed up at our house about 10 months ago. She stayed and even made it through the Pennsylvania winter. She rosted on our side porch or in the tree in the front yard. I cleaned up after her about once a week. She somehow made her way into my heart. On Saturday, March 28, 2009, she was hit by a car and died. I am so thankful I found her. I buried her and cried. Anyway, I'd like her owner to know she is gone and she had a good adopted home for a short time...and I truly miss her. By the way, I really don't know if she was a "she" for sure.

I'm very sorry to hear about you baby. That's very sad. Just know that by you giving this bird a home as long as you did,you prolonged her life. There is no owner of the bird. These birds with AGSG bands were abandoned or killed out right about a year or so ago. She wouldn't have survived as long as she did without your help.
