Wow wow wow I am by far almost speachless.......

I mean how much passion and hard work that person must have put into that wounderful story could even be used as a speach my god that is beautiful writing. So much information all in that one page tells everything about pigeons and there lives everything!!!!

Now that should be given to all the people in the world who dislike pigeons for very stupid reasons im shur then they would have a second thought and if they dont get anything more in their heads then they have seriouse problems.

That is such a good story i had to read it again thanks for sharing i think ill share it with my friends.

Thanks all .. glad you like the story .. I did too! I can't take the credit though .. a nice fellow named Rob on the StarlingTalk board posted it there. He has a great interest in all birds .. starlings, especially, but he also likes pigeons and often posts his observations about them.

Well .. then ..

Let's all tell the writer how very "on" the article was and maybe give a link to this thread. We pigeon besotted people and our beloved pigeons need all the favorable publicity we can get and should be appreciative to those that give it.

Just got a response from Ms. Kelly to the email I had sent her regarding her article.

Thought you all might like seeing it:

Hi, Linda.

Thanks for alerting me to your forum. I’m blushing at all the wonderful postings.

So glad the group liked the story. And that, if all the positive email I’ve been receiving is any indication, it seems the lowly pigeon does indeed have a vast, dedicated fan base around the world. It certainly is heartening.

Sara

Dear Ms. Kelly,

Thank you so much for writing such a wonderful, positive story regarding pigeons. They are such misunderstood birds and the victims of such negative misconceptions...hopefully your story will help some people realize that they are just birds--not dirty, diseased "flying rats."

I am a moderator at www.pigeon-life.net <http://www.pigeon-life.net> and another of our moderators has shared your story with our forum.....it is much appreciated and here is the link so you can see for yourself how grateful and appreciative we are:

I, too, e-mailed Sara and received a lovely note back. She is really pleased to hear about so many pigeon fans around the world!! She no longer has to feel "alone" with her love of pigeons!
