Today while at the park, my son(4yrs old)found an injured pigeon. It looks like someone may have tried to shot it or maybe a cat. At any rate it can't fly, no it's not a baby. I think it's neck and part of a wing might be injured. We don't have a "real" wildlife place around my town, nor do I have the money to take to a vet. Any suggestions. Thank you for helping
Given your circumstances, you could give the bird a safe home (in a box), with pigeon feed and water. Perhaps it can recover on its own, given a little shelter and food.
Seeds and grains from the kitchen will work in a pinch. Good luck to you and to the injured bird.
