Pigeon breeds

I was wondering if it was okay if I kept two breeds in one loft? I was thinking of a homer and a fantail, both adopted hens. I've only heard of people keeping multiple pigeons of the same breed... I don't want any fights for my future birds because of their differences, haha.

No problem June, they are flocking birds and enjoy company-they get a little weird alone. just watch so one isn't constantly picking on the other. they will work a pecking order out..........Bruce

If your not keeping racing pigeons for racing then you could have many different breeds together with no problem but I wouldn't let them cross breed because you could get some funny looking birds
