That Face he does
I have for almost half a month now, a pigeon who have had been injured a long time ago and that I found in a parc unable to fly (probably hit by a bicycle unable to take off on time) , so he’s basically wild but used to humans- he doesn’t want me to touch him but eats and drink in front of me and coos when I try to sleep.
There’s that face he does a lot- I’m used to have cats so I interpreted it as "I’m happy and ready to sleep", eyes half closed and a bit fluffed, if I don’t move he even starts to sleep.
What is that face and does that mean he starts to trust me?
I asked someone who has a pigeon and she said that he would t close his eyes in my presence if he was scared of me because in the wild closed eyes= being eaten by a predator.
Also sometimes when I stop looking when he does that he coos a bit, very soft and cute coo, literally "coo"
Thanks in advance for helping!
