2014 young bird season one of our club members did that, he sent 40 some birds to the first 100 mile race and lost all but 3. I've red where other people have done the same thing and said they had good results but I find that hard to believe. Each to their own, I wouldn't do it.

Everybody has their own way and I am sure all kinds of arguements can be made over it,, bit in my opinion, the bottom line is if you want to win,, you need to be the guy training the farthest and the most!!! Drive till you cant take it anymore!!

I was just wondering, 2014 young bird season I raised 17 birds, trained them in this order all single tosses, 1st toss 3 miles, 2nd toss 10 miles, 3rd toss 20 miles, 4th toss 30 miles, 5th toss 45 miles, 6th toss 75, then 90 miles a couple times a week, I won races and had 13 birds at the end of the season, best year I had in young bird.
I tried everything from group tosses, two at a time 3 at a time 5 at a time, I think I will stick to what I done in 2014.

Well i once just loft flew my young birds and didn't have a chane to road train them and decided to toss almost all my birds young and old at the same time at a 80 mile toss for the first time I lost a few birds and had some young birds trap in the next day. I wouldn't recommend doing this if you don't want to loss some birds.
