For my own birds this would be great but for the ones sent to the OLR's might not work. They only want "official" AU or IF or CU bands.
I certainly would not use 100 bands but they are cheap enough, I paid .55 for mine from the combine. Have to support the combine though. Using these for my own birds is good because they cannot be traced back to me. I hate to lose a bird and then have a call from a hundred miles away saying they found my bird and what am I going to do about it. Last year I had 2 calls, lucky for me 1 was sick and soon died, the other one was picked up by a friend of mine. The thing I really dread is having my bird cause an accident by flying in front of a car and the driver swerves to miss it or something similar. Also a sick bird could infect or somebody could claim it infected a flock of chickens or other pigeons or whatever and they traced the band back to me. I a case like that these bands would be good. |

I had a bird that I picked up that was lost 120 miles away. I got a call from someone who had found it. Luckily I was heading in their direction a couple of days later and picked it up. After that I could not loose that bird no matter what. I still have her one of my best birds.
