The band sounds like a generic or custom band, I do not know any clubs with a DF for initials. 2010 is usually the year the pigeon was hatched, if correct, thatís an old pigeon.

But it could of been an old band put on in any year after. Wish I could be of more help.

To be sure itís a homing pigeon , could you post a picture?

If it is another breed the owner could be closer than you think.

The american pigeon racing union might be able to figure out if the bird is from a club. Here is a link for them.

The Canadian organization in Ontario may be ableto help.
http://www.crpu.ca/ or
Canadian pigeon fanciersclubs.

Here’s the pigeon... I tried contacting the Canadian pigeon association through Facebook and email but received no response.

Not a typical color for s homer.. it could be another type of performance breed like a roller.. or even a mix of the two.

At this point I would capture it and keep it secure and rehome it , to a responsible hobbiest, someone who keeps pigeons.

Careful who may respond , some use these birds for training bird dogs and even for shooting.

Doesn't look like a homer to me. My guess is it belongs to someone in your area. Looks like a roller to me. Good luck to you on finding the owner.
