Juvenile Checkered Roller Lost

I know it’s a long shot but one of my juvenile Checkereds has been spooked and I opened the loft door and flown off. She’s not ringed unfortunately as she is so timid so very hard to catch.

Has anyone got any advice to help tempt her back to the loft?

dear meg,--your escape,e-will most likely return to eat,--keep food available, and a large fishing net-on a pole.--this works for me ,and oh,-be patient..keep an eye open for predators as time might be the enemy.--sincerely james waller

Especially look for the bird at dusk and dawn. Hope your bird is home safe soon!

thanks for the advice, she came home at dusk and we managed to get her back into the enclosure. I’m leaving her to recoup tonight and I’ll check her over properly in the morning. She doesn’t seem injured or anything so all is good.
