All my birds are getting sick! Help needed

I hatched some button quail from eggs a few weeks back and last week one of them was fluffed up and bubbling a clear liquid out of it's mouth. I thought it was salt toxicity and treated it for that.. It still ate and drank just remained fluffed up through the week and sometimes twitched it's head like something was in it's mouth or something.. Finally today it died... Now my other birds are starting to do a little head twitch and starting to fluff up. Somebody told me to get some sulmet and treat the quails with this, which I started today. Any other suggestions? I'm not sure what this sickness is..

Hi citycowgirl,

Can you post some images of the Birds themselves?

And, also, of their freshest poops? especially from any who are showing these symptoms?

How are they being kept? Indoors, outdoors, what sort of situation, details...?

I'll do my best! They are being kept in their brooder still with pelleted pine. They went outside a few times to their big cage but they are still too young to be out there on cold days. i'll be back with the pictures.

unfortunately, the quails are getting worse. i'm noticing a lot of water coming out of mouths. they are kind of spitting it out or it's gurgling out. do i need to try an antibiotic? also, i'm worried this is going to spread to my pigeons and chickens! what should i do for them? here are some pics.. i couldn't get any of the poop because on camera it blends in with the pellet but it looks healthy.

Get the obviously sick ones into isolation Cages and have them on white Paper Towels.

Do the same with any iffy ones also.

Do the same with all of them if possible, segregating them into small groups if need be, composed of those who appear to be in about the same condition, good, or bad.

Provide Warmth if possible to those not appearing to be well.

Decide some controll for their Water - maybe, a mild ACV Water.

What have they been eating?

What sort of Water containers?

This sounds like something is causing their Crops to become blocked, partially blocked, or infected. Or, their Gizzards or GI somewhere, is.

We need to see actual poop/urate images in order to see if there is even any food passing, and, to see the condition of the urates.

They all seem to be not feeling well (there's 8 of them)
They have a heat lamp in their brooder
They have sulmet in their water
They were (slowly) switched to adult game bird crumble which led me to think the batch of food was bad so last night I changed their food to chick starter with some boiled egg for extra protein.
They are drinking out of parakeet waterers right now, as that was what they used when they first hatched

I'll go get some pictures.
