how to save a young cuckoo bird / koyal


hi every1 just 2day i had got a tree chopped in our farmhouse and unluckily there was a nest on it. i recovered a cuckoo bird which we call koyal here.
The bird is able to hop but still isnt able to stand completely. I would do anything to save the bird i tried feeding him some water and grapes but everything was futile. i will be highly glad if u all cud help me saving the bird. what n how sud i feed the baby?

for now, I would educate yourself on what cuckoos eat and what they feed their babies and get as close to that as possible.. you may have to open the beak and put food in untill it knows you are feeding it.

i would take a basket line it with twigs and leaves and hang as close to the downed tree as possible
the parents will continue to care for it, sounds like he is very close to fledging

don't give water, baby birds aspirate really easily and you can kill him

thank you every1 for ur suggestions. 2day morning i had some gud success i was able to feed him with some gauvava and a local fruit and he is responding well.
