Quail babies

Ok we just had a box of quail babies dropped off. Im working on keeping them warm but was wondering if once there older if i was to put them with 1 of my pigeons if they might learn peaking and how to eat from them I dont know much about them so im fairly lost but i looked up how to care for them and if im reading right they need to be taught to peack and eat on there own?

quail are bug eaters, pigeons are seed eaters, I would not put any baby quail in with any type of adult bird. esp a different species. the quail should have baby gamebird food offerd to them and they will learn to peck and eat bugs on their own.

What age are the babies? Chick starter will work if game bird crumbles are not available. If the crumbles or chick starter pieces are to big i usually put it in the blender for a few seconds. As for putting them with a pigeon i do not recommend that either. Quail like to run and they will run over anything in their way. How many do you have?
