he looks yellow golden rather than the standard golden. Is that the lighting?

I've had a look online and asked my flatmate and this is the yellow variety of the golden pheasant, I prefer the golden pheasant as its colours are more vivid, Just my opinion though.

My flattie used to help one of the biggest pheasant breeders here in NZ so has seen a lot, He looked at the pic and in 1 sec said its definitely a yellow golden.

yes the red golden pheasant does have more color i have this one to will post pic when they get color

Thats a Yellow Golden , have 6 of those, also have 5 amherst and lots of others.

Beautiful! I always loved phesants, wish I could keep some but I dont have space especially
the golden, lady amherst and the ringneck

do you keep any other kinds?
