Borken wing

Please can someone help what to do with a pigeon i have on my window with a broken wing . i got it inside , wrapped it with warm clothing and put it on warm room , but i dont know what to do next . I dont want it to stay handicapped and dont want it to die. it's not sick at all it can move just his right wing is broken , it's been struggling to fly and popping but it can't. His state seems healthy except for his wing .

You can put down a dish of water and one with birdseed in front of him. He might not have eaten for a while and is probably starved. If you know a decent avian vet (one that won't euthanize the bird) that might be your best option for now.

Agree with Marina. And keep him in a good sized cage or box in a warm quiet area. Unfortunately, the wing, even if set, may not heel 100%, so that he can fly really well.

Where do you live? Our avian vet stitched our rescued feral, Phoebe, back together. She had a broken wing and was nearly decapitated. She became our dearest love. Thank you for rescuing the poor pigeon.
