I am interested in starting a small loft of pigeons just for the fun of it and maybe racing in the future. I live in central Missouri and it gets pretty hot in the summer. Do pigeons do ok in the heat or would I need some sort of cooling system for their loft.

It is only about 92 degrees now, but the next two months usually tip the 100's all the time. I'm just wondering if the pigeons are okay in high heat. They have plenty of fresh cool water, but it is very hot outside. I figure they're okay, but I thought I'd ask anyways.
