king pigeon rescue

Hello, I've recently found and taken in what we suspect to be a King Pigeon. He was walking around near our house and when we took him to animal control he said he was a homing pigeon and that he'd likely find his way home if we provided some food and shelter. We set him up near an abandoned...

This week I was able to save a couple of king pigeons that were going to have a not so nice ending . King # 1 is a chequer and King #2 is a pure white..... not sure what I will name them ....post up if you have any thoughts :)

Here is what we know.....of 35 or so young Kings that were collected in San Francisco several passed pretty quickly with no diagnosis. Elizabeth took a bunch more. She has lost one I think from unknown causes...(I will ask her to fill in any gaps in info here so we get the best advice possible.)...
