    Hi, newish to this.and my first pigeons are spending their first night on top of nesting boxes instead of in boxes which have barley straw in them and they also chose not to sleep on the on perches. Is that normal? Where would pigeons normally choose to sleep?

    I am new to this...I have had a rescue pigeon for about 5 months. This AM I saw large (dime size) and smaller dark red droplets on her paper. It was near her poop (which was normal color), but not mixed with it and she seems fine. I checked her body for injury or blood but can not find any...
