I have been reading on here and picked up lots of info that has become very useful with my birds. I started taking them out and letting them fly around the loft and they come home. I have taken one out twice and when releasing he goes to a tree near by. I just leave, he comes home like hours...

Hey, Which lines of pigeon has has the reputation of being the fastest short distance birds? And Who has the most endurance birds? I mean a bird that can attain at least 1550ymp or more for 10 hours.

Just wondering. How long should a bird take to do a mile with no head wind or tail wind? Or lets just say a 100 mile race. Im thinking 40 to 50 mile an hour.

I have noticed that unless you send your bird to a one loft race and it competes against other birds returning to the same loft then it really isn't a very good competition because the birds could be flying varying distances and returning to different areas. So my question is how do you...
