I found a baby dove that can't fly in my backyard, if I keep hand feeding it and keep it in my pigeon loft (with my pigeons) will it be friends with them and then return home? I wanna try and see what happens. Is it possible for a dove to return home if it has lived with homing pigeons? Let me...

How important is it to train old birds on the line of flight? Reason is this Saturday morning I have to go out of town which will be straight North instead of NE my line of flight. The distance will be 65 miles, they have already been 45 miles on the line of flight last weekend. Thanks:)

I'm just getting my first homers together, trap training but no flying till spring. I've been reading about the use of pouters with homers and I'm fascinated. Do you just train the pouters with the homers and they naturally do what they do or is there more training involved for the pouters? Do...

Question about training and winter. When is it too cold to loft fly? When is it too cold to basket release? Here is my deal. I have my birds trained to trap upon getting to the loft if basket released. I find this to be better than loft flying due to hawks. When they loft fly some like to sun...
