Trying to help a new friend cut his flock back to about 150 birds.
Breeding age Trentons from a life long breeder William Moog. He will ship to your door 4 birds for $100.00. I visited him a couple days ago and can tell you he has some very nice stock, some of which is now in MY loft.:D
I have 4 pair of rare color Trentons for sale. I will sell them in 2 groups. Colors are: Cocks: Red Mottle, Red Mottle, Silver Slate, and Gimple. Hens: Bronze, Yellow Mottle, Gimple, and Dun Check. Price is $200 per group (4 birds) and that will include box/shipping to US only. I cannot post...
I heard that back in the day everyone had Trentons, just like everyone surely has a Janssen pigeon in their loft. Now I hear they are simply homing pigeons, you never hear about anyone do good with them which is a shame becuase they are really pretty pigeons. So my question is what happened...
I just received some of the best birds that I ever owned before from a good friend. They were really nice birds. One was a full red, Trenton, with a pedigree. There was also a huge mottle hen, and a really nice yellow cock. Best birds ever so far. I am so exited to experiment with these guys:)
Were AGSG bands only used by the Pigeon King International breeders?
I bought some really nice red, black, yellow and white Trenton racing homers last year and many of them have AGSG bands.
The bands they are wearing fit much more loosely than sealed basnds normally do.
