I'm pretty miffed about this. Not to be religious or anything but I do consider certain things in this world "more holy" than others. Vultures always struck a very special chord with me because of their duties in the wild. They can soar for miles upon miles with little to no effort. They can fly...
Our wing is all mended now and we got released this weekend. First we had to get out of the truck.
Then we had to get airborne and go way up high with 5-6 of our new buddies so we could find the freshest roadkill for dinner.
I got a truck full. Little fellow got born too late to make the migration and got left behind. Now he will get a couple weeks of free fresh liver dinners and a free ride over to the winter grounds.
Cute little fellow.
That's roof sealer on my coat not Vulture poop.
This young fellow got a hold of a poisened something and ended up on the ground starving. We got the poisen flushed out of him and after a couple weeks of good food he will be ready to out again. He's a young (bird of the year) Vulture and probably found a poisened rabbit or squirrel carcass...
Just a short story of my last couple of days.
We have been experiencing a snow and ice porblem here in lower Ohio over the last few days. The power went out and the roads were terrible. It was just bad around here. Two inches of ice on the sidewalks. Still is rough driving.
