I have two feral pigeons, one was hand raised the other was cured after being hit by a car. Hand raised is about 6 months old and the other 4.
It all started with vomiting, they throw up undigested seed. Sometimes seed has a very bad smell, like rotting fish. Vomiting lasts for 2 days...
Two of my pigeons have died and another pigeon is sick.The sick pigeon is a hen , her pair has died this morning.The cages are close together and it could be that the pigeons are dying due to the same disease.The pigeons that died stopped eating and suddenly died after 2-3...
One of my pigeon sick for few days. Her pops are watery and yellow (see the attachment). I checked her mouth but I did not find any sign of canker. She doesn't eat much and loosing weight.
Now I am hand feeding her. Any suggestion how can I treat her?
My boss's wife called me this morning, freaked out about a pidge she found in her alley. When she found him, he was in a seagull's mouth! She had to actually chase the gull to get it to drop him...scary :(
Anyways, from looking at the pidge, it seems like he's definitely a young...
I have an approximately 6 week old mourning dove (?) with a badly deformed leg. It is larger than the other, red/swollen and tends to stick straight out, although it can and does bend. The bird, named “Stevienicks”, came to me after the little girl who initially found it couldn’t care for it...
Just now I noticed in couple of places a loose yellowish poop with blood strains:confused:. It was one of my young bird (less than 3 months old). It looks healthy eats/drinks well.

When I came back from office, I found one of my pigeons to be really dull, it was fine in the morning while I was leaving. None of the other pigeons are having any problem. This guy was not even eating today.
