They're 3 days early but, then, they were last time, too. That's why I checked. Because they've fooled me before.
Sure enough! The 1st of the Capt.Jack/Polaris babies has hatched this morning!!! These will be our last babies. All other adults have laid eggs but sitting on dummie eggs. This is it. No more.
Even Atlantis & Calypso, who have built a 2nd nest some 4' away from babies Cayman & Zephyr, are in the process of laying a new clutch. Pretty as their babies are, they will ALSO be switched out for dummies! Wow!!! Both of them will be busy 24/7 for another 2 weeks or so, as 1 sets eggs and the other tends to Cayman & Zephyr!!
