Anymore, I seem to get three or four a Month, sometimes more.


Just curious if anyone else here has any experience with them.

I had a couple of birds with this issue. One had been shot through the wing, it healed nicely, no problems.
The other one had a pellet lodged into the shoulder bones. My vet chose to leave it in place as surgery would have caused more damage. He is not flying, but otherwise doing fine.

[wildlife-rescue]

I have a juvenile feral pigeon in at the moment that has been shot with an air rifle. Entrance wound in chest, exit wound by leg. Leg is fractured and chest wound is deep but manageable. We get a lot of crows and ducks in that are shot too. Disgusts me!

Wow that air rifle does alot of damage huh. Laws are slow coming out on them.
