Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has ever come across anything like this in a pigeon before?

He has been on a number of different meds and just recently put back on Doxy but it's not working.

He has been dewormed, treated for mites, been on Baytril and Ketazol.

His face/ head area is swollen like there is excess fluid building up under the skin.
Legs are also swollen the same.
Other than his looks he is acting like a normal pigeon and begging/feeding nicely.

How long has he been with you? Is this one of your own babies? Did you take him to a vet and did the vet check for canker? Looks like he might have some pox growth starting on the eyelid. Are you giving vitamins?
He is a rescue that has been with me for a few weeks now. He has been checked for Trich, he is all clear. The growths you see around his eyelids are not pox growths. It's like a watery blister. He came in like this and is getting worse, he's been on vits since he came in. He has had a fecal and crop smear done and is all clear.
