Here are my first babies for 2010. This is an attempt to breed a couple of Andalusians. Mom is an Indigo racer from George Simon's loft, dad is a black spread racer that was a rescue. If I'm lucky, one of these guys should be Andalusian. They just got their bands on today.

I have a Andusian colored Mookee with a white head and the different hues of color shine so nice-and I hope both of them are Andusian (spell)--they are just healthy and beautiful with their half black beaks--just adorable..c.hert

Andalusian is the result of indigo and spread. It's a really pretty dark blue color with dark lacing on the feathers usually.
Here's mine (not the best picture):

Looks much like the blue color in chickens. There's even a breed called Blue Andalusian, but the color comes in other breeds as well.

Hi Becky, The bird that you have pictured here is the darker type. They also come in a liter shade more grayish in color, most all mine are of the lighter type I do have one of the darker type, the cock bird that he was breed out is a red mimic mated to a Anderlusion hen. I realy need to get some pictures and post them GEORGE;)
