So I’ve jus recently started with pigeons and one of my pairs laid eggs hatched them they are about 9-10 days old I went out today to check on them and it was on of those really cold nights and they had there heads down were cold barely moving so I brought them in put heat lamp they look like they was getting better but on started to like seize n started panting n it died while I was holding it in my hand the other one still lives but it started to do the same kind of twitches but I grabbed him n held him he doing better sitting wrapped in sock under heat lamp still looks like it’s having trouble breathing I’m just trying to see what I did wrong or what happened and what I can do to keep this one living thank you 🙏

I hope he is doing ok. Can you get Kaytee exact handraising formula for baby parrots from a petshop? Watch some youtube videos: how to feed baby pigeons. Rather continue to raise him yourself.

The parents will stop feeding a baby when the baby is not healthy.
