Let the bird's parents feed him?
No, they are not feeding him because one of them flew away
Either parent can feed crop-milk to their squabs. Both the male and the female produce crop-milk. Even if they only have one parent caring for them, the parent can raise the squabs provided there is food and water nearby.

She was only feeding one baby i checked for two days then i took the baby inside my room for heat and feeding.
Get a bag of frozen green peas from a supermarket. Defrost in warm water and remove the skins from the peas. Now blend the peas till soft. Add some water till it has the consistency of tomato ketchup. Feed this to him until you can get the formula.

Have you checked on youtube: how to feed baby pigeon? Plenty of videos that will show you how to use a cut-off syringe for feeding.

Hi all!
Recently, I saved an abandoned baby pigeon. My first thread about him was focusing on why he was so hyper active and that it never stopped asking for food even though he was full. Now however, I am here to ask the exact opposite. I'll try to give you as much details as I can (bear me with my bad English).

I am a bit worried from yesterday as it is not squeaking that much and suddenly became a lot calmer. He also doesn't devour his meal as he is used to! All it does is seeking its little nest or any place that looks like a nest to him, preen its feathers sleep and poop. No more squeaking all day! Before you ask, its poop is just fine up until right now, consisting of the khaki green worm like solid poop, a white cap and water around. I was feeding him Chickpea Flour mixed with Water (I cant give him baby bird formula because its not available in my country). The only thing I did out of schedule was to mix Corn Flour into the mixture inside the syringe. And I did this the night before I started noticing his gradual loss of appetite.
Anyhow, the next morning I bring him the same meal but this time, he didn't eat it all out of the 20 ml he ate 15 while for the first time showing clear signs that it didn't want to eat anymore (taking its beak out on its own and refusing to stick it back). After that, I stopped mixing Corn Flour in its food. However, the same happened at night. This time, it ate about half food. This morning, he couldn't even manage to eat 10 ml of food and I was worried. Out of all these cases, it begins eating like crazy and after a few seconds, it just stops on its own where otherwise I had to take its beak out myself so that it can breathe!
I checked around the forums and googled much and my attention fell on two cases, throat canker and crop stasis. I checked its throat and it was clear, no signs of that. He also have some kind of lesions Bumps on the different part of his body I thought its mosquito bite but it doesn't looks like a mosquito bite. Its poops are just fine. As for crop stasis, I not really sure it can be that as I am always cautious not to overfeed it by checking the crop's fullness etc.
But, since you guys have more experience than I do, could it be that? did I overdo it with the food or something?
Finally, Now that he is growing feathers all around and preens itself, could it be the fact that its growing feathers are annoying him hence the reason He lost appetite for food etc?
He Is 27 Days old but looks like he is only 2 weeks old. I am Attaching His Images.
Thank You All In Advance

Those growths look like pox (caused by bites from infected mosquitoes). This will eventually dry up and fall off. Only deadly when they get the wet form of pox inside their beaks which can intefere with eating and breathing. They can get secondary infections like canker and this one needs to look out for.

His crop looks a bit overstretched in the one photo. When this happens, food can accumulate at the bottom where it will rot and cause yeast. Why don't you rather get frozen peas, defrost and remove the skins and then blend till it forms a puree. If there is food at the bottom of the crop, you will need to get this digested. Get a jar of human baby applesauce and feed this to him lukewarm throughout the day. After feeding, gently massage the bottom part. You can also add some applesauce to his food to help with digestion.

Sometimes when ready for weaning, they start refusing formula and then one can start focusing on getting them to eat seeds.

He might need a crop bra, as in the photo above.
