I have afemale roller and she is my breeder, she has a bump on herewing up by the sholder the wing is dropped she is eating good and drinking water need help thanks kevin

Do you know IF she injured the wing?

Have you innocluated your birds for paratyphoid?

Can you post a picture of the wing area?

Please isolate her.

If it is paratyphoid, you can treat with Baytril or the acquivelent. Be sure to inncoluate all your healthy birds Also, be sure to close any openings to your coop larger then 1/4 inch, and clean up all their food each night. Rats and roaches can bring on this type of disease.

If this is an injury then that settles that question, but can you tell if the swelling soft, like a boil or hard?

Does she have any other swelling around the leg joints, how does her poop look?

You can get the Baytril at the pigeon supply stores, or an equivalent, as some members are having a hard time locating it.

You should also get the Paratyphoid/Salmonella vaccine for your other birds-if they haven't been innoculated, if they come in contact with other birds, and they fly outdoors.
