Hi

I have a bird that needs to be treated for Coccidia and I don't really like to use the medicine's that go in the water as you can obviously never be sure that an unwell bird will drink sufficiently to obtain the correct dose.

The instructions say:

A bird needs to consume 7mg toltrazuril per kg body weight per day, you can then calculate based on how much they drink per day the correct amount to put in their drinking water.

But what about a direct single dose straight into the crop, how much should that be?

There doesn't appear to be any way to make that calculation.

Thanks

Hi, i would not give baycox to my birds without mixing it with water dosing of the undiluted product will cause irrating of the muscos membrans and throwing up, just mix up a dose with water and use an eye dropper or a syringe to treat the bird. Robert
