Elmo looks to be either a Homer (if he's domestic. Is he banded?) or a feral pigeon...also called a "Rock Dove". As for how to take care of a pigeon, there is an ENORMOUS amount of information available on all sorts of topics - food, housing, water, vitamins, etc. Use the "Search" button and read everything (that'll keep you busy for awhile). Then, if you still have specific questions based on what you've read, don't hesitate to ask.

Ya he does this thing in the air where he is flying and then he like rolls in the air.

From the picture it's hard for me to tell but i would go with what Dave says on that one, he's got a lot years experiences with rollers. I personally don't have any experience with rollers I have racing homers.

Looks like Bald head with not the most perfect markings, plus few rollers that are crossed will "flip" in an enclosed space like that.. (unless crossed with another roller Breed), Henry is on the money. And... if it flips in an enclosed space like that it might be a pretty fair roller, happens that way sometimes....

yesh looks to be a roller to me as well , you dont see many other flying breeds with baldheads thats for sure

LOL! tried that of off of the garage roof at 12, did not turn out as planned, so i gave it up. Worked on turning Invisible after that..... still trying I will let you know how it works out! Dave

Thankyou everyone. I just wanted to know what someone thought he was. He is my favorite pigeon. He follows me down the road, WALKING!!!!!!!! He runs with me by my side and he loves to land on my head and peck my hairband. I love him and all my other pigeons.
