Hello all,
Yesterday found a pigeon on the Regent Canal Towpath, in distress, it had blood or vomit or fluid on its chest, one wing sticking out, and was cowering on the side. I have taken it home in a box with air holes and have provided it with water and some bread and nuts. It now seems to be in good condition and relaxed, so I hoped that after some rest I could let it go.

When I checked it this morning I saw its wing stuck out. I think it might need treatment.
Does anyone know of anyplace in east london where it can be treated, I dont have a car to take it out of london, or is there anything I can do for it to help it heal?

Location is Hackney/ Bethnal Green, E2 9BJ, London, UK

Thank you,
Denma

Hi all,

In hope that this info will benefit anyone else. I wanted to share that after many inquiries to different agencies, I got in touch with the pigeon protection and rescue/ london wildlife protection, and a volunteer is coming to get the pigeon. Their communication was realyl fast, especially on facebook and they can also be whatsapped on their cell number. They have a no kill policy.
Details below.

That is a fab group and so many who are willing to collect injured pigeons. Thanks for helping him and getting him somewhere safe to give him the care he needs.
