Hello folks you will find some beautiful links from recent stories in the news below. The beauty of the first link is obvious but the beauty of the remaining links is more subtle in that the links were made by champions and being a champion of the little ones is beautiful. Watching may be difficult but it is in and of itself an act of courage and compassion that will make you a champion, yeah in just a couple of minutes too! Happy Holiday to you and yours and all your flocks! Ho Ho Ho Santa's got a sack of seed and Brown Beery Whole Wheat for the Gulls, Geese and Crows too!

Please watch the short clips below.

I like the first video :) How nice of her to take in those turkeys every year. Looks like they love their bath and blow dry!

Yeah the hatcheries sure are sad, I don't like how they cut the back toes off the female chicks. This month my bird group will visit three vegan restaurants. I ate dinner at one of them a couple weeks ago and I felt great the next day.

I don't quite get the intent here.

(BTW - it's not difficult to stop eating meat at all, really)

Please be more specific about what you don't get. It's pretty easy to watch the clips. My intent is to be a champion for little defenseless birds that are tortured and disfigured. The truth is these are the cruelest times in history and most of us don't look or purposely look the other way. That is the sad truth of our times. Acknowledging that somethings wrong is the first step to becoming a compassionate conscious human being. You can think what you want and eat what you want. I'm glad that someone took the time to show me. I hope more people will learn to be beautiful champions and I hope such horrible suffering will diminish. Today a coworker said "So you are trying to be vegan isn't that a little extreme?" I said not at all, most of the people living on the planet hardly eat any animal productsl, and throughout recorded history it has been this way. To each his own diet but factory animal product production has got to go.

There is a wonderful film about Speciesism called Earthlings that has helped very many see beyond themselves. It's helped many other species too. It is without a doubt the best film I have ever seen. Some of my pigeons and I watched it together. I hope that many will watch it to the end and reflect on why it is a wonderful film.
